Frozen or Fresh Berries?

«Is it ok to use frozen berries instead of fresh ones? Will they lose their nutrients because they are frozen?»

But this means that they had less time to obtain and develop a full range of vitamins, minerals and natural antioxidants with the help from the soil.

On the other hand, berries that are destined to be frozen, are picked up at peak ripeness, when they are most nutritious.

Both fresh and frozen berries are wonderfully nutritious and rich in antioxidants.
